Just a minute in March....

Bloody Hell, where has March gone?

This Month has seen many birthday's celebrated including mine, so low-key I almost forgot about it! There were a couple of milestone birthdays, more fortieths and many more on the way. Which is great as I don't feel so alone... if you know what I mean? It feels big turning 40 and I'm now 41! time to move on ...

Planning: To stop fart-arsing around with the colours for my business cards and actually get them printed....Love the design!

Shopping: For seasonal clothes, can't believe I typed that - but for the first time I am wanting to purchase a couple items for winter and not waiting for the end of winter sales to up-date my fledgling wardrobe... ahhh this is silly...

Watching: Not much, too caught up in life... but still holding out on 'Brothers & Sisters' will improve, 'Desperate Housewives' never will... unless having my time taken by lovely long winded phone calls with a friend who has returned from abroad. Loving when I remember to catch it and not caught up in feeding, bathing and putting small children to bed, the series 'Grand designs' on the ABC ... very inspiring.

Reading: Like a fiend I have three and a half books on the go... the tale end of Alain Botton's 'The Consolations of Philosophy' (again, a good re-read!). A crime novel, 'The Kurt Wallander Stories' by the Henning Mankel...(yes, I am a big fan!)...inspired by a couple of blog reviews 'Encyclopedia of an ordinary Life' by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and highly recommended to me and 6 months down the track I have finally purchased it 'Staring at the Sun' by Irvin.D. Yalom... book reviews to come later!

Indulging: A trip away over the Easter break on my own! To visit a friend at her family's small country property which I last visited 21 years ago! Quite symbolic and loads of fun as it involves a plane ride, car travel and pitching a tent solo!

Eating:
Getting into the swing of food for cooler evenings, stews, spaghetti bolognaise and soups... However with warm days and nights still inevitable... there's plenty of chicken and salads, takeaway pizza's and bbq's happening...the last bastion of summer/autumn...

Sounds like a busy month... I have Alain Botton's book in my shelf waiting now for nearly 2 years... I really should get going on it!
I have posted my tag challenge (finally).
Have a great break over Easter. Sounds like lots of fun.

You'll be on your way on your solo adventure right now - it sounds like the perfect break. I hope you post some photos down the track.
