Going through the motions....

Very tired...long day....Cleo is officially 9 months old today which is very exciting. All the little milestones are. Although for the past two nights she has been experiencing temperatures for the first time and I have spent the last two nights in a row being woken up at least 5 times during the course of the night for either a feed or because she is feeling grisly, tired and worn out by the cold.

MD whose work sees him starting at 4:30am has had to really wear it too so we are quite sleep deprived. (You start to understand why they use sleep deprivation as a form of torture during the war-it's hell) But you know you have your breaking points and even in the light of the day when you as a parent whether it's first time or second time round, you just cope. You go through the motions there is no expectations of having to put on your *happy* face all the time, you realise this is just a phase or a stretch and then hopefully you are able to talk about it to other friends who will listen patiently, nod their head, smile that knowing smile and like they did today at my mothers group offer me a glass of white wine which really hit the spot!

Happy 9 months Cleo!
