Day 2 - Blogtoberfest 2012 : ACMI | Spirited Away (PG)

©2002 Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment. All Rights Reserved.

A wonderful day had with my 9 & 5 year old...catching up with friends at ACMI (Australian Centre for the Moving Image) and seeing the wonderfully imaginative movie 'Spirited Away'.

I so love the work that Studio Ghibli produce. We have had 'Ponyo', 'Totoro' and 'Howl's Moving Castle' on high rotation in our house over the last couple of years.

Well worth watching for their unique story lines and beautiful animation.

A great option for entertainment during the school holidays and at $6 per person both adult and children is great value. If only we could say the same for the parking at Federation Square! Next time we'll be using Public transport...

We love this film in our house too. My daughter is a big fan of manga and anime. Just dropping by (from Blogtoberfest) to say hello.

Oooh Ponyo and Arietty are two of our favourites too - did your five year old enjoy it??
I have two six year olds and a four year old and might add this to our list of things to do.
I found you via Blogtoberfest, hope you have fun.

How nice to find something that suits both the ages...yes shame that parking costs just triple a day out. x

My girl became interested in animé this year, so we are visiting expositions and watching movies. It´s an awesome experience for me as a mom too. :)
Enjoy Blogtoberfest!
