Day 11, 12 & 13 - Blogtoberfest - A 3 day catch up in one post!

My lord, where did the last three days go?

I do know, my son went on camp and I did alot and felt like I achieved very little.

Day 10 (recap)- Is when he went away to camp, I took many funny photos of his group of friends, yet as I haven't got his friends parents permission to upload photo's. So I've posted one of the envelope he wrote on. We recieved a fantastic postcard which was a photo the camp organisers had taken of all the kids from school, on the back he wrote:

"Dear Mum & Dad and family, I'm having a fabulous time...."

Just heart-warming and a little reassuring as it was a first school camp...

Day 11 - I was feeling rather unmotivated and needing to have a change from working in the family home, so took myself off to a friend's furniture showroom. He sells rather delightful Danish Modern furniture from the 50's - 70's I'll do another post on his store later... Here's a taste:

Day 12 - A rather rainy Friday with plans for a power walk with a friend ended up being cancelled, so it was take-away coffee's and suddenly OMG we were due back at the school for pick-up. Losing time has never been so easy in great company....then the fun really began.

Eldest child back from school camp and he was due to play his first game of cricket and he didn't I hadn't  bought him any whites. (For those not familiar - Cricket traditionally is very conservative with their required playing outfit, pants and shirt must be white!). So I drove sensibly to a factory outlet called Grey Nicholls. We ended up being 10 minutes late for his first match, thankfully he was properly outfitted and I was trying not to look like the nutter last minute dash - Mum. Not sure I covered my tracks on this one...

Anyway 3 hours later, and even tho I was rugged up! It was sooooo cold in Melbourne three toes on my right foot wouldn't move...needless to say the game was a draw and so a very happy Mother and son went home via the bottle shop! After dinner I curled up on the couch and then fell asleep a hard day of talking and running around, not my usual way of a spending a day! Believe me.....

Day 13 - Today has been rather uneventful. Except for some cleaning up of the garden, reading, slothing. I have enjoyed not having to run around, kick a slight cold and even indulge in a 'nanna' nap early in the afternoon...
