Wall art, good grafitti, I love urban streetscapes and took the above photo in my local area. I'm pleased I did as the artwork has been painted over and the building earmarked for demoliton. Probably by some short-sighted developer, can't wait for that architectural wank to be built!
Movie dates with my partner...after an absence of dates together since June, (We have been doing the one stays home to look after the kids, one goes out routine) you realise it starts to wear thin and that you really do miss their company. So taking advantage of our parents being in town (one week after the other...great timing!!) We snuck in quite a few dinner + movie dates...
First date involved a new favourite Thai restaurant, followed by selecting a movie I was alittle dubious about seeing but the viewing options were poor that night, we selected 'Inglourious Basterds' and loved it! However as we had to wait for an hour for our next session time, we perused the shelves of Borders (only option) and both selected a book that appealed...I'll review these when I get round to them later...lets just say we both went for the crime fiction genre.
Second date, dinner at our favourite Japanese restaurant in the city, 'Yamoto' its typical Melbourne dining located down a lane way in the Paris end of Little Bourke street. It's not flash, yet it has that atmosphere of sitting in a friendly familiar dining room. The food was great and we delighted over the gyoza and the Sukiyaki. The movie we chose to see was 'Looking for Eric', such a delightful Ken Loach movie, well worth a box of popcorn and a choc top at the cinema's.
Enjoy the following reading, 'Encyclopedia of an Ordinary Life' By Amy Krouse, was very entertaining. 'Persepholis-The story of a childhood and the story of a return' By Marjane Sartrapi, absolutely mesmerising from start to finish as the front cover quote depicts "A revelation...you will remember it for a very long time"...Currently reading 'The Time Travellers Wife' By Audrey Niffennegger, I cam late to this book but after reading favourable reviews recently bought and loving it so far.
Swimming lessons with the kids and being back in the water for some laps...
Not feeling morning sickness anymore at 16 weeks and counting...
Having started the decluttered process am going through room by room and seeing the effect it's having on my spirits as I finally get rid of 'stuff'!...
WHAT'S NOT...
My study, which I share with my partner is an absolute bomb site and the one room I walk into and just throw my hands up in despair..it's dusty too...very dusty and I cannot get my head around where I need to start with this space...I know it will come soon, It has too I have been thinking about it for months...I just require a starting point cause it's blocking me!
Being so creatively blocked for sooooo long... My work fulfils my design, structure, analysis, spatial arranging, form and function part of me...but it's my free flowing, no structure, no form or function, colourful, sketching, creating, crafting side of mine that has been completely buried under a mountain of excuses, lack of time management and life...I am willing it and it is tempted to reemerge...
Settling children to sleep with new daylight savings hours...

Hope the creativity comes unstuck very soon. I read The Artist Way recently and found it life changing. I was very resistant to it for some reasons and spent years fobbing off people who told me to read it. I guess it was a timing thing perhaps. I agree with your other thought though too - having a clear physical space makes a different. Sounds like you are getting ready to shift.
