Blogtoberfest Day 28: What's Hot + What's not..

It's What's hot + What's not time again...

Self portrait in mask

WHAT'S HOT

Strictly speaking, we are travelling ok! Child number one is home from school with gastro and so the washing maching is working overtime...pillows, teddy bear, sheets all copped a serve...So I donned my mask that I usually reserve for sanding down furniture (not that I have a production line but I do have a couple of more projects in the wings to do!)...but that's for another time... For the moment we are waiting for the sun to shine which I can see a glimpse of light through the blinds so very happy about that!

The sun shining brightly and now drying my washing after a hectic night of stripping down beds and remaking them!!!

Later today a visit to the clinic for my 19 week ultrasound it's always exciting to see the progress of baby number 3...

Finding the time to FINALLY taking my sewing machine in for a service...YES, sewing machine... an almost vintage Bernina, my Granmother gave me 3 years ago which has patiently been sitting under my drawing table...

No obligations...

WHAT'S NOT

persistent colds...

Our neighbour knocking on your front door when you have grabbed the one opportunity to have a shower, whilst sick child is sleeping in bed and small child is parked in front of the television...you then have to find a towel that wraps around a pregnant belly and then realise you are just not for public consumption so speak to *said* neighbour through your front door...doesn't feel too friendly but she understood...hopefully!

For more amusing tales of What's hot + What's not...visit Loobylu for all the details...

Sending some happy healthy vibes your way...I may need to get myself some of those masks for those horrible times of sickness....

Poor neglected sewing machine and your nonchalant attitude...we do string them along sometimes, don't we?
