On my desk....Hobbytex, Silk & T-square.

This week is seeing the tail end of mad dashes to finalise concept design sketches for clients, who canceled their meeting at the last minute by the way. (pet hate- but it happens!)...so anyway I have come home (after celebrating another friends 40th birthday), kids to bed and looked at my desk and realised I needed to record it for posterity's sake for this week's "On My desk.." meme. I looked at where I had plonked the *said* sketches down and the overall effect was a classic overloaded desk, which I find is highly unoriginal as I surfed other participants of Kootoyoo's meme .....

So I chose a corner of my desk and in this picture you can see in the background:

A 'Hobbytex' wall hanging given to me on my eighth birthday (1976).

A corner of a 'Silk', framed up for painting that I began in 2006...still don't know when I'll finish it. It's on my desk to keep from inquisitive 14 month old hands!

My trusty T-square...which is used more for poking out rogue matchbox cars from under our couch then real serious drafting....
